Information system ‘Single Registry of Social Protection’

How to apply

If you are a member of a low-income family in need of child benefit, you can submit your application for the child benefit in your mahalla.

Starting from April 1st, 2024, you can also apply via:

  1. Single portal of interactive public services (my.gov.uz);
  2. Center of Public Services;
  3. “Inson” social services centers’ social workers.

Documents you need

When submitting an application, you must have:

  1. passport or ID card of the Republic of Uzbekistan for all family members;
  2. statement about your livestock and farmed birds, vehicles, farming land, and commercial properties in use of the family;
  3. an application with a request to provide information about your savings/banking transactions for the purpose of means-testing.

You may also need

a) if you or your family members are stateless persons or foreign citizens, an identity document and a residence permit;
b) if your children are adopted,  a copy of the decision of the guardianship authorities.

What does mahalla do with your documents?

  1. Checks the full provision of required documents and their correct completion;
  2. Prepares the statement about your family members;
  3. Registers the application in the registry book;
  4. Delivers all documents to the district (city) ‘Inson’ social services centers every 5 days but no later than the 19th date of the month.

 

Application deadlines
If you submit your application:
before the 16th date of the month, you will have an eligibility assessment in the current month;
after the 16th date of the month, you will have an eligibility assessment  in the next month.

Operators in the ‘Inson’ social services centers enter all documents into the “Single Registry of Social Protection” by the 26th date of the month.

Eligibility assessment

The information system ‘Single Registry of Social Protection’ assesses your eligibility automatically  based on  your income, property ownership and employment status of your family members. You’ll receive an SMS notification about the outcome (assignment or denial with reasons) to the phone number specified in the application.
‘Single Registry of Social Protection’ automatically re-assesss your income and property every month during the whole period of payments.

 

You may receive a denial if:

  • your family’s average monthly income per member exceeds the amount of minimum consumption expenditures (648,000 soums);
  • your family owns more than 1 residential real estate or 1 or more non-residential real estate;
  • your family owns a car less than 12 years (7 years for families of people with disability of I or II groups or children with disability) from the date of production;
  • your family owns other transport means less than 12 years (7 years for families of people with disability of I or II groups or children with disability) from the date of production;
  • your family owns 2 or more cars;
  • your family owns securities with a value of or funds in deposits in the amount of more than 5 times the minimum wage (5.25 mln. soums);
  • someone in your family is unemployed (has no income sources) but able-bodied and has not applied to the labour authorities during the last 6 months;
  • someone in your family receives an unemployment benefit;
  • other reasons in accordance with the regulation.

When and where the benefit is paid

You’ll get your payments from Xalq Bank’s (People’s Bank) branches from the 5th to the 27th dates of the month following the application month. You’ll receive an SMS notification once the payrolls are in the bank.

Online applications will be available from April 2024.
